Cookie policy
What the site stores in your browser and why.
Effective October 4, 2026
1.What’s stored in your browser
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Vayai uses only strictly necessary cookies — without them, sign-in, language and settings don’t work. There are no advertising cookies or third-party trackers, which is why we don’t show a cookie banner.
A few settings are kept in your browser’s local and session storage: your chosen gallery audience, consent ticks until you finish signing in, and whether you hid the demo-mode banner. They stay in your browser; the consent ticks are sent to our server once you sign in.
2.List and durations
NEXT_LOCALE — site language. Set by Vayai; deleted when you close the browser.
sb-…-auth-token — your sign-in session. Set by Vayai through the Supabase authentication service after you sign in; kept for up to 400 days, refreshed while you use the service and removed when you sign out.
kr-theme and kr-transparency — your chosen theme and reduced transparency setting. Set by Vayai when you change the theme; kept for 1 year.
kr_ref — the invite code if you arrived through a friend’s link. Set by Vayai; kept for 30 days and removed as soon as the invite is applied or declined.
3.Analytics
We don’t use third-party analytics such as Google Analytics. To understand how the service is used, our own server records usage events — such as “template opened” or “generation started” — without prompts or email addresses. No cookies are needed for this, and the Sentry error monitoring in your browser doesn’t set cookies either.
If we ever add analytics or advertising tools that need cookies, we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent before turning them on.
4.How to control them
You can view and delete cookies in your browser settings. Deleting session cookies signs you out, and blocking them entirely means you can’t sign in. You can change the language and theme in the site itself, and the cookie updates.
