Content rules
What you can’t create or upload on Vayai.
Effective October 4, 2026
1.What’s not allowed
These rules apply to prompts, uploads, results, templates and covers. You may not create, upload or publish on Vayai: explicit or sexual content; face swaps and deepfakes of real people — images or video showing a real person doing or saying something they didn’t; cloning someone’s voice or imitating a specific person’s voice; content impersonating a real person or organisation; hate speech, threats, harassment, incitement to violence or terrorism, graphic violence; instructions for making weapons, drugs or other dangerous substances; fraud, forged documents, receipts or reviews; material that infringes copyright, trademarks or someone’s right to their image; anything else that’s illegal.
Prompts are checked before any credits are charged, uploads are checked automatically, and results also go through the model provider’s moderation. These checks aren’t perfect: content that gets through is still not allowed if it breaks these rules.
2.People in photos
Only upload a photo of a person if it’s you or you have that person’s consent to use their image this way — for example, a model who was photographed with your product. You must be able to show that consent if asked.
Photos of people are accepted only by tools that don’t change appearance: removing or replacing the background, upscaling, cutting out an object. Other models reject such photos before any credits are charged. Never create images of a real person to pass them off as genuine.
3.Minors
Any content that sexualises minors is prohibited without exception: it’s removed, the account is blocked without warning, and we report it to the relevant authorities.
Photos of children may only be uploaded by the child’s parent or guardian or with their consent, and only for neutral product shots such as children’s clothing — without altering the child’s appearance.
4.Other people’s brands and rights
Use your own products, logos and materials, or ones you have rights to. Don’t create counterfeits of other brands, put other companies’ logos on your products, or copy recognisable characters, brand styles or other companies’ ads in a way that could pass as the original.
Product images must match the real product. Don’t use AI to change its colour, materials, size or contents in a way that misleads buyers.
5.AI labels
Vayai results are AI-generated. If you publish them where the law or a platform’s rules require AI content to be labelled — for example, realistic images of people or events in the EU (Article 50 of the EU AI Act) — add that label. Never present a generated image as a real photo of an event or a person.
Don’t remove or tamper with technical provenance marks if a model provider has added them.
6.What happens after a violation
A prompt that fails our checks is rejected before any credits are charged, and you see the reason straight away. If a model provider’s moderation rejects a result, your credits are returned in full.
Every moderation rejection counts as a violation for whoever wrote the prompt: when you run your own prompt or template, it counts against you; when you run someone else’s template, it counts against the template, not you. A third violation blocks the account until a person reviews it. Serious violations — content involving minors, deepfakes that harm real people, fraud — lead to an immediate block and removal of the content.
Community templates that break the rules are removed from the gallery. A moderator rejection for explicit content, a real person or someone else’s brand counts as a violation for the template’s creator.
7.How to appeal
When we block an account, remove a template or delete content, we tell you why: which rule was broken and what the decision is based on. If you disagree, write to us through the support form within 6 months of the decision, saying what you’re appealing and why.
Appeals are free. A person reviews every appeal and replies within 14 days. If we got it wrong, we’ll reverse the decision: restore the account or template and remove the violation. You can still go to court or, in the EU, to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body.
